The Tangle
A park, a builder, a concept, a budget, and committed funding. One thing is missing: formal neighborhood approval.

Why it exists
A city parks department and design firm have developed a large nature-play concept for an existing community park.
A donor consortium has committed the full project budget, contingent upon successful community review.
The city has completed technical site review, but the neighborhood engagement process is still underway. This project illustrates an important principle: money does not skip the community process.
