The Dragon Yard
The land is secured. The city is committed. The neighborhood helped design it. The builder is ready. The budget is real. All it needs is funding.

Why it exists
A small urban parcel adjacent to a public library and recreation center has been approved for redevelopment as an imaginative neighborhood playground.
Children proposed a recurring idea during community workshops: a dragon asleep beneath the city.
A design/build firm translated that into a sculptural playground where the dragon's back becomes a climbing ridge, the tail becomes a balance course, and smoke-like nets form elevated play spaces. This is the model project that demonstrates what “Playground Ready” means.
